Dr. Marisa Overton earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from AT Still University and her Masters in Audiology from Idaho State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorder from Saint Louis University. Dr. Overton holds a Certificate in Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Dr. Overton’s clinical areas of interest include adult and pediatric diagnostic testing and dispensing hearing aids. She has worked in private practice ENT and hospital settings throughout her audiology career and enjoys seeing her patients improve their quality of life through better hearing. She strives to stay up to date with the advancements in hearing aids technology to best fit her patients. Dr. Overton believes that helping others hear and communicate better leads to a more positive and active lifestyle. It is important to her to provide the best quality of service to her patients so they can continue living their best lives and feel better about themselves.
When she’s not working, Dr. Overton enjoys spending time with her family and friends, photography, travel, college basketball, fitness and crafting.
