Dr. Tawniece Curry graduated with honors from the University of Missouri–St. Louis with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with emphasis in Adult Gerontology Primary Care from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She has more than 20 years of critical care experience working in both hospital and clinical settings. Prior to becoming a nurse and a nurse practitioner, she worked as a paramedic on an ambulance and in the ER. She has been an EMT-P for over 20 years and is certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS, with multiple Clinical Save Awards throughout her career.

Passionate about teaching, Dr. Curry has taught undergraduate students at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and at East Central College.

She holds memberships in several professional organizations and loves to spend time volunteering and using her skills to serve communities in need. As a provider, Dr. Curry is committed to providing exceptional care to every patient she encounters.

When not working in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her love of travel, she is passionate about music and loves to laugh and have fun with everyone around her.
